What is Get More Legal Clients?
The short answer is business coaching for lawyers.
AND, there is so much more, so please give me a few minutes to share my story . . .
[Starting out ... ] I've been in business as long as I can remember. I started my first company when I was just shy of 10. It was a local neighborhood rag that shared all the happenings in our community. Think People Magazine for the 100 homes that made up my self-imposed territory, bounded by the area I was allowed to travel by bicycle. After a few months, going beyond gossip, I included local advertising, driving traffic to an adjacent strip mall. The mini-mart's Slurpy machine sales went through the roof. My first taste of the rewards of running a business ...
[Working for the BIG guys ... ] After college, I went went to work for other people ... Enormous companies, with hundreds of thousands of employees (Grainger, GE, and HSBC). There I was able to hone my expertise in Strategy and Marketing, leading massive revenue generating initiatives (massive meaning they started with a $B). The rewards included loads of money, control over my destiny, opportunity, experience, and travel.
[Then this happened ... ] In my twenties, when others were taking their newly gained independence and pocket money to go out and about, I started on a journey of self-development. Don't get me wrong, I did the out and about ... and I started to devour everything I could get my hands on to build both hard and soft skills. During this time I earned two masters, an MBA, and studied techniques of Time Management, Emotional Intelligence, Psychology, Marketing, Sales, and Focus ... just to name a few. Long before 10,000 hours was a benchmark of mastery, I logged untold hours of research and practice.
[Time for a change ... ] Two decades into adult working life, I had a resume full of impressive accomplishments ... and the urge to go back to my entrepreneurial roots. Ten years ago I started coaching and consulting and I haven't looked back.
[Why ... ] Remember above when I shared what I was doing in my twenties? Well, I've never stopped. I've curated massive amounts of knowledge and paired it with real-world experience to create opportunities both zigging and zagging. I found my passion in helping others grow their businesses.
And then a thing happened. I met, fell in love, and married an attorney. All of a sudden, I am surrounded by attorneys. Dinner parties turned into “how to“ lectures on increasing originations.
My coaching and consulting clients started skewing to the legal profession. Practices needed an injection of Marketing and Sales know-how for growth.
[Fast forward . . .] I created a specific coaching program to help lawyers add Marketing and Sales skills to their toolkit.
Marketing -- getting and keeping the attention of prospects and clients -- is ever changing.
Let me remove the guesswork and show you what currently works
so you can shorten your learning curve.
Sales -- the action of selling something -- is a consistent and repeatable process.
Let me show you how to structure a sales process
so you can have a constant flow of clients.
[Result . . .] The Get More Legal Clients coaching program. That’s a pretty good name, don’t you think?
I also created KontakTid, a technology company designed to deliver tangible results from - and make follow-up networking easier. Kind of like a CRM, but a lot easier.

The best for last . . . my peeps, my why, my ❤️
I live on the west coast in Newport Beach, with my beautiful family. I never, in a million years, thought I would live in California. I'd spent my entire adult life on the north shore of Chicago. However, when opportunity knocks, you have to answer the door.
Adventure = 1 | Fear = 0. It’s true what is said . . . Everything you’ve ever wanted is sitting on the other side of fear. Who knew?
My family keeps me on my toes with a hectic schedule of entertainment, events, and appointments. When there is a break in the schedule, know that an active debate on any number of topics is being held in the kitchen or on the patio. And, if you listen carefully, you can likely hear the laughter right this minute. There is a lot of laughing.
My intern, Wellie, is very demanding and enforces a grueling schedule of playing and cuddling. As far as interns go, she's very distracting.
